Duties and Responsibilities

The Board Attorney advises the Board of Supervisors on legal matters, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Their duties include drafting and reviewing contracts, ordinances, and resolutions, as well as representing the county in legal disputes and litigation. They provide legal opinions, guide departments on regulatory issues, and ensure all legal processes are in the county’s best interest.
